This meeting will be a tour, given by three of our members, of their UNM research labs. The approximately one-hour lab tour will be followed by a no host social hour and dinner at Los Cuates on Lomas.

For the tours:
1. Wolfgang Rudolph will show us aspects his work on lasers - some involves producing light pulses with powers equivalent to the instantaneous power utilization of the US.
2. Adrian Brearley will show us UNM's new state of the art electron microscope that can literally see atoms.
3. Paul Schwoebel will show you work we are doing on medical X-ray sources to improve imaging in breast cancer screening.

We will meet in the lobby of the new PAIS Building at 5 PM. For directions to the PAIS building please see: https://physics.unm.edu/findpanda/. Following the lab tours we will all make our own way to Los Cuates on Lomas for a social hour and dinner. We will meet in the bar at Los Cuates. This will be a no host occasion at Los Cuates, so plan to pay for your own refreshments and dinner.
