The 21 Club wishes  to thank our speaker, Shebana Coelho (Fullbright Fellow), the NM Chapter of the Fulbright Association, Erika Price and the Los Equipales staff.

Funded by a 2007 Fulbright research grant, freelance artist Shebana Coelho spent over a year in Mongolia recording sounds, interviews and songs in nomadic communities, on the steppe and in the city.

In her presentation, Ms. Coelho will share excerpts from her recently completed multimedia documentary “On the Move in Mongolia” which features portraits of Mongolian women, including a herder, a horse trainer, a city girl and a singer.

The documentary was recently broadcast on KUNM's Women's Focus and presented at the Embassy of Mongolia in Washington D.C.
